RedDrum begins life as Essential Business Communications (EBC) in 1995 training solicitors in modern IT practising and the legality of holding client data.
EBC launches as an IT service company, after multiple requests for solicitor practices attending training. EBS moves into an office based in Usk, to accommodate IT engineers. Those offices became home for the next 9 years as the business continued to grow from strength to strength.
EBC start developing bespoke software and re-branded to Open Source Software Company (OSSC), the move was inline with the software-as-a-service trend developing. OSSC moves into its current office based in Cwmbran to accommodate a larger IT engineering team.
RedDrum was born, in a re-branding attempt to create a more recognisable brand name and logo. The decision was made to introduce a simpler name which allowed RedDrum to supply multiple services under one brand.
